Math helped me a lot during this year and I really enjoyed having Mr. Dorman as my teacher because he taught me things I didn't know and I know that I have struggled during a lot of occasions, but he was there to teach me. What technique helped me this year was how to sole a radius and estimate how long it would take 2,275 dominoes to fall, and it took thirty-nine seconds. This was complicated at first but then I got use to it and how to draw a circle and find the radius of the whole diameter of the dominoes. This was real easy and I understood it by following the step and knowing that effort and knowledge is all it takes to find an answer to a problem. Math was really fun this year and it helped me understand things I didn't understand before. Thank you Mr. Dorman.

My most challenging thing was rational numbers because I didn't get how to make them rational from irrational. I overcame this because I studied everyday to understand how to solve this. I also started to understand rational numbers when I watched videos on how to solve and it really helped me get over rational numbers.

Rational numbers can be really difficult once you start and you never seen them before. You can really understand them when you take time to understand and get the hang of the problems and equations. Many times I tried to understand rational numbers and look at me now, I understand on how to do these numbers and how practice makes perfect.

Math and science have many concepts together and they sometimes are used together to solve both math and science problems. Science has to do with many experiments and the earth. Math has to do with equations and word problems. They are alike in some ways too. They are used by many people everyday and are very helpful in jobs and in peoples life's. Math is used in science when you have to know some existing strategies. Science is also used in math because there might be a problem where you need to use science in a math problem or science in a math problem. These are some ways math ans science have some concepts alike together.

Negative numbers are the opposite of positive numbers and they always have a - negative sign before it. They are in our lives because when you go to school and study math they teach us about negative numbers. These numbers are really important because they represent things like money. For example, if you have -45 dollars that means that you owe that person of you need that kinda of money or even that you got taken away. They are useful in math equations because they usually run on a number line.

The most intelligent math skill I have learned is how to find the common denominator between two fractions. How I learned this is by multiplying  and finding how the two denominators are alike and what two numbers brought them together. This was really easy for me because one I saw this on the board I got it the first time we went over it.  I really like doing these kinds of problems because they are easy.This was one of the most intelligent math skills I learned in math this year.

 
The two methods you can use to convert a a fraction into a decimal are you can lay a decimal on its side and divide it. The next one would be estimate if the denominator is in the tens it would be like percentage. For example if it was 3/10 the decimal would be .30. I wold rather use the flip one because when I flip the fraction on its side, its easier to divide and get the correct decimal. This method is really easy.

I need to get skills real good because when dividing a fraction sometimes it can get hard or it can even not work out for that problem.

The steps to find Pi and the circumference is easy because most of the steps require to use your knowledge of what you already know and what you need to find the are of a circle. The first step to do this is plug in the numbers that you are going to use and need. You also need to try it out just in case they don't work for the problem.


 After that, you need to find the radius of the circle and try it out if it is possible for the equation. Well this is how I found the circumference of the circle and the steps to knowing how to do this.

The difference between a bottle and a can Mountain Dew is that the can one is only ninety seven cents and the huge bottle is one dollar and thirty seven cents.I suggest getting the can one because it costs less and because it is a good price. The difference between the sodas is that they both are the same kind of soda but the thirty five litter soda is much more expensive than the can soda. The biggest one is expensive because it has more soda inside and is way bigger than the small little can one. The difference between the sodas is a dollar and fifteen cents. The can one would be a great choice because it is less and even though it is small you can buy up to three of four of these sodas for yourself.

One thing that I remember in math last semester was integers and how we divided them using a positive or negative sign. This topic was really interesting because it showed the difference of the two equations we are doing to get the right answer so that we could then show our answer. Many times I had trouble with the other topics we learned in math but this topic of solving integers and their equations was a real big adventure because I knew all the steps in getting my correct answer. My best memory of math would be this one. All the other times I did math it was not as interesting as this time because I got to show how I felt for doing math especially if we have to watch out for the addition and subtraction sign. The integers were solved in many ways like some of them had parenthesis and others just had huge numbers to solve but I still understood this math function. Integers helped because I learned it by explaining money for example if it was negative it means you owe money and positive means that you have money but you don't owe anyone. This is what I learned last semester.

Pythagorean is a math situation that involves shapes and the same amount of length in each shape. I would be able to solve this by figuring out the missing side. I would name each side a, b, or c and c would give me my answer to the missing side. This would help because finding the missing side would indicate the other two sides that already have a number.



A funny way to solve Pythagorean Theorem is by trying to guess what will be the less likely answer for it.
